First grade spent their morning learning all about the chores they would have to do if they lived in the 1890s. We had fun drying apples, doing laundry, harvesting corn and getting water from the well.

HS Student Council treated the 5th Grade to an ice cream party today for winning the Homecoming float competition this year! 🧡🍨

The middle school students who met their three goals for the quarter got to go to Concordia University last Friday. They met author, Wendelin Van Draanen, a quirky lady who told stories of her life and the process she went through to turn those stories into children’s books. They also toured different areas of campus such as Bartels Rock and Mineral Museum, the Marxhausen Gallery of Art, Friedrich Arena, and Bulldog Stadium. They got to finish the day with a pitstop at the local Diary Queen to get a sweet treat.
A couple weeks ago a few FFA members helped Frontier Coop hand out food to the local farmers.
