🧡🐾BULLDOG PRIDE 🧡🐾
Every Friday, we are going to hold a drawing for our bulldog pride tickets. Teachers give out these tickets when they see a student going above and beyond in and out of the classroom. This weeks prize was $10 Dairy Queen gift cards.
The winners this week are Cooper Yungdahl for being respectful in helping out a peer in the weightroom, and Selah Gehring for being respectful, responsible in helping the teacher hand out papers and going out of her way to finish a test.

This last week, Middle School & High School JAG students were able to learn about a growth mindset and the impact it can make not only on you, but those around you. We watched a video about the difference between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset, and students were asked to identify whether they thought they had a fixed or growth mindset. We learned how to think about mistakes in a growth mindset, “Mistakes help me learn,” as well as what we can tell ourselves as we approach new challenges, “What can I learn by doing this?”
Afterwards, students were challenged to create an original, visually appealing poster that inspired other students to utilize a growth mindset. The posters were then hung up around the school to showcase our learning.
On Halloween day, the Sophomores hosted their JAG Celebration for teachers to enjoy a meal with us, as well as to celebrate our Career Association chapter and the beginning of our JAG program! One of the sophomore students’ family, as well as A&B (located in Shelby), generously donated and cooked some pulled pork for us all to enjoy for our lunch. It was delicious! Some students also made and brought some desserts and chips. We had a great time sitting with teachers and sharing what JAG looks like with all of them. Because we hosted this on Halloween, we had some Halloween-themed prizes available for 2 teachers to win. Each teacher who attended our lunch was able to put their name into a bucket to be drawn for a prize. Our winners were Mrs. Green & Deb! We appreciate the continued support of our teachers!
