OHS Bulldogs

Osceola girls basketball team finished the season at 12-12.  After a tough run after Christmas, they Bulldogs were able to make a late season run to earn the #1 seed in their subdistrict where they defeated Mead and then High Plains, in overtime.  For the second year in a row, the Osceola Lady Bulldogs were subdistrict champions and were rewarded by playing the #1 team in the State and defending State Champions, Falls City Sacred Heart.

The girls competed well and battled, but eventually fell to the top team and probably favorite to repeat as Champions.  These girls have a lot to be proud of and hang their hat on.  They showed grit and determination throughout the year.  This team will go down in the record books as the most stingy defensive team in Osceola Girls Basketball history.  They were able to set a new school record for fewest points given up per game.  The previous record was set by the 1986-87 team giving up 37.2 ppg.  The record posted by the 2022-23 Bulldogs was 36.0 ppg.  They were able to stay competitive by keeping points off the board for opposing teams.
