On Monday, February 28th, the boys basketball team defeated Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (61-38), in a dominating fashion, for their second straight District Championship and punched their ticket to the NSAA State Basketball Tournament. The Bulldogs held a 9-point lead heading into the break only to come out in the third quarter and open a 20+-pt advantage. It was the most complete game the group of guys have put together on the season. All 14 players saw time and contributed to the win.
Osceola will take on Wynot in the first round of the State Basketball Tournament. The game will be played at Lincoln Southeast at 10:45 am on Tuesday, March 8th.
