Build-A-Bug

In Mrs. Carnes's room, the 4th grade computer students put together "Build-a-Bug" in groups.  These students learned how to follow graphic instructions, problem solve, and work together as a team.

Connecting with Knex

The 6th grade students in Mrs. Carnes's class are learning team work, how to read graphic instructions, and problem solving while working hard to put together K-nex and trouble shooting problems with them to resolve issues.  This has been a fun project for the students, more pictures will be added as more groups get done with their project.

5th Grade Snapping It Together

In Mrs. Carnes's room the 5th grade students worked together in groups with electronic snap circuit kits.  The students were introduced to the basic properties of electricity and electronics while learning  the fundamentals behind circuitry.  They also gained insight into series circuits and parallel circuits as well as learning to work together as a team.
