What is the Osceola Public Schools Foundation?
The Osceola Public Schools Foundation is a private non-profit corporation which was organized in May 1987 under the laws of Nebraska. The foundation operates independently of elected board members of the Osceola Public Schools District #19.
The foundation exists for the purpose of collecting, holding, and distributing property and funds for scholarships to be awarded to students of Osceola High School and to assist and provide educational activities consistent with the theory of scholastic improvement within the school district. The foundation is non-tax supported, tax exempt, and contributions are tax deductible.
Gifts and bequests may be made to the Osceola Public Schools Foundation in any amount of cash or property. A gift may be given in a name as a memorial, or a contribution may be given anonymously as the donor may desire. Donations may be made directly to the Osceola Public Schools Foundation to allow the directors to use the contributions as they determine to be consistent with scholarship and or education improvement.
Donations may also be received for funds thus established and their development may be publicized and promoted by the foundation board.
Who Manages the Foundation?
The foundation is managed by a Board of Directors. Residents of Osceola Public School District #19 are chosen because of their interest in promoting education. Each board member serves without compensation. Their length of service is determined by Osceola Public Schools Foundation bylaws.

The amount donated is not important! As a pebble in a pond spreads its ripples, all contributions add up and together enhance what the foundation can do for students of Osceola Public School District #19.
How to Make Contributions
Gifts and bequests may be made to the Osceola Public Schools Foundation by completing the attached form and mailing it with your contribution. Iff you have questions regarding your support of the Osceola Public Schools through the Foundation, please contact any member of the Board of Directors.
