Osceola Teacher Openings!

Due to Retirements 3 Teaching positions available

January 26, 2018

The Osceola Public Schools will be losing three veteran teachers at the end of the school year due to their retirement after 40 years in the district.  We say farewell and best wishes in retirement to Dot Snesrud (5th Grade), Cec Waldmann (Art), and Roxanne Page (Title I/Reading).  While they will be missed, their departure opens opportunities for new teachers to come to the district and impact the learning of our students.  The Art position (click here for more information) requires someone with a love of Art and knowledge of new opportunities for students in the field of graphic art.  The 5th Grade position (click here for more information) requires a team oriented person with a personality that helps 5th graders prepare for the move to middle school the following year.  Our final position has morphed into a combination positions, that will help expand the curricular offerings at the MS/HS.  We are looking for combinations of endorsements (click here for more information) in Reading, Technology, Math, Lang. Arts, Science, Social Science and will see what kind of applications that we get to determine what the final person will be teaching.

Also along with any of these positions the Districts is looking for Activities Director, One Act Sponsor, Head and Assistant Girls Volleyball and Basketball Coaches.  If not a teacher the applicant would have to be able to meet the coaching requirements through NSAA.  Person's interested in these positions only need to a classified district application form found under FORMS on the districts website.  If you have any questions on any of the these position, feel free to contact Superintendent Steven A. Rinehart at 402-747-3121.
