MS Reading Teacher Combination Needed!

6-8 Reading Teacher with any of the following endorsements: Technology/Robotics; 7-12 Soc. Sci. Math, Lang Arts, or Science

Due to retirement, Osceola Public Schools is accepting applications for a 6-8 Reading teacher in combination with one of the following endorsements: Technology/Robotics; 7-12 Soc. Sci. Math, Lang Arts, or Science at Osceola MS/HS in Osceola for the 2018-19 school year.  Osceola is a community that is centrally located.  It is a short 30 minute drive to Columbus, York and I-80 and approximately an hour drive to Norfolk, Grand Island, Hastings, Omaha and Lincoln.  It is a small community just under 900 people and has good community support.  The District is looking to expand the technology offering along with other program aspects which explains the broad scope in endorsements being sought for this position.  The district is a 1:1 Apple school with the 5th grade students each having their own Mac laptop and each teacher has their own Mac laptop, iPad and an interactive Promethean whiteboard in their classroom making technology knowledge desirable.  The successful candidate should be a team player, innovative, energetic and enjoy sharing their love of learning with students.  Other possible duties with this position include AD, Head VB and GBB, and One Act, but are not required for employment.
