Art Teacher Needed!

K-12 Art Instructor Sought for 18-19!

Due to retirement, Osceola Public Schools is accepting applications for a K-12 Art teacher at Osceola Public Schools in Osceola, NE, for the 2018-19 school year.  Osceola is a community that is centrally located in Nebraska.  It is a short 30 minute drive to Columbus, York and I-80 and approximately an hour drive to Norfolk, Grand Island, Hastings, Omaha and Lincoln.  It is a small community just under 900 people and has good community support.  Our Art program is very apparent as you walk through all of our facilities student work can be seen throughout and the students take great pride in their works on the walls.  (See pics below)  The district is a 1:1 Apple school with all students each having their own Mac laptop or iPad and each teacher has their own Mac laptop, iPad and an interactive Promethean whiteboard in their classroom making technology knowledge desirable.  The successful candidate should be a team player, innovative, energetic and enjoy sharing their love of art with students.  Other possible duties with this position include AD, Head VB and GBB, and One Act, but are not required with this position.
