Power isn't control at all--power is strength, and giving that strength to others. A leader isn't someone who forces others to make him stronger; a leader is someone willing to give his strength to others that they may have the strength to stand on their own.

Welcome Ms. Evans

This school year we are welcoming new band/choir teacher Ms. Sarah Evans! Ms. Evans grew up in North Platte and attended Doane University. She has acquired a lot of experience in choir and band from participating in both throughout her high school and college years. In fact, Ms. Evans was given the chance to go on a choir tour in college to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland. Ms. Evans says it was one of the greatest trips she has ever taken. Her knowledge and experiences will be very beneficial to our school and students. Ms. Evans’s goals are to get more people involved in band and choir. Higher numbers of people can lead to more challenging music, which Ms. Evans is open to trying. It sure sounds like Ms. Evans has high expectations for this year! We are very lucky to have Ms. Evans! Let’s have a great first year with her!
