Bulldog Engineering Team Takes First Place in the State
April 11, 2017
The Bulldog Engineering team of Austin Wieseman, Ethan Yungdahl, Derek Voigt, Ben Lohrman and Carter Boden scored first in the state of Nebraska in the 2017 TEAMS (Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Math and Science) competition. To accomplish this feat, the team had to submit an in-depth essay prior to the competition and then complete a multiple-choice exam (focused on engineering scenarios) and a hands-on design challenge on the day of the contest. The competition took place on March 7th, 2017, at UNL, where the efforts of Osceola students were matched against 19 other schools from across the state. Their combined score in the three-part evaluation resulted in a first place finish. Congratulations to the Engineering team for a job well done!
